Unfortunately here in Wichita, KS the Bradford Pear and the Red Bud trees are blooming, but as usual the wind is blowing like crazy. Today’s forecast is for wind gusts between 40–60 mph. This is called pre-tornado conditions and the wind will be spreading every type of allergen.
Because of this the local news has started issuing warnings for people with allergies/asthma to stay inside.

When it comes to high pollen, Lexington KY tops the list. Per my research, they also have the lowest utilization for medical care so many residents are often not receiving care and attention.

Scranton, PA heads the list followed by Wichita, KS — McAllen, TX — Richmond, VA — San Antonio, TX — Oklahoma City, OK — Hartford, Conn — Buffalo, NY — New Haven, Conn — Albany, NY.

The 10 least challenging places to live with seasonal allergies are:

Fresno, CA — Phoenix, AR — Provo, UT — Denver, CO — Sacramento, CA — Portland, OR — San Jose, CA — San Francisco, CA — Durham, NC — Seattle, WA.
