For our assignment about using multiple materials I decided to make a large lighting fixture to use with my neopixel strips.

The two materials I used were an oak piece of wood, and a foam that my pool noodle was made out of. The design is fairly simple, just a thin box that perfectly hugs the noodle and an opening for the noodle to fit into. The box also had to be the right dimensions so that an arduino could fit into the bottom of the box.

I used nails to get the box together, and used some tape in order to hold the sides of the box together as I drilled in.
