The Importance Of Acknowledgment

Become Your Greatest Competition, As Well As Your Biggest Fan.

In Most Cases, It Means Everything

“Acknowledgment is fuel for the creative fire.”-Henery X

Fact

When we invest time and energy into something and then share it with the world, we do so with the primary objective of getting a reaction. Granted, we hope the said reaction will be positive but if not, that it’ll at least be respectful. Acknowledgment is likened to the word of God, it allows us to understand precisely what we need to know.

Negativity Goes As We Choose To Think

Our offering(s) could get a million great reviews but receive one not so favorable one, and have it become the primary focus of our attention. Instead of being pleased with the obvious, we’ll obsess over the thought, “what didn’t they like.” Regardless of how much we’ll desire it, everyone will simply not like what we do or have done. But the feelings of others, negative or positive, should never be greater than our own. See, when we love what we do, it’ll always be loved, regardless of whatever else may, or may not, transpire. I look at a negative response for what it is, which is a person’s opinion, as well as their prerogative. The only thought I give to an unfavorable response is to check and see if what was mentioned is even feasible. There’s always room for improvement, but we should never allow a bad review or two, have us doubt our ability. People are entitled to their opinions, just as we’re entitled to accept or reject them.

Focus On Doing What You Love Most

The more we do a thing, the better we’ll become at doing the said thing. We better our chances of receiving more favorable reactions towards our offerings, when we focus our attention on the offerings themselves. I define perfection as whatever I feel comfortable sharing or accepting. Not saying it’s perfect, but that it’s ideal for me. So, in other words, it’s a personal preference. Perfection is a personal preference, wow, this is something for us to just more than consider. Preference means prefer, or like, or love. So, it’s not about pleasing others, but about being pleased with ourselves. Sure, we want others to appreciate what…
