Be Frugal With Your Decisions

The average adult makes over 35,000 decisions a day while young children only make 3,000 a day. Are the increased amounts of decisions we make as we grow older worth the mental capacity we dedicate to them?

When we were younger, we had less choices to make. What to eat, what to wear, everything was decided for us by our parents. As we grew older, things got a little bit more complicated.

We got more choices to make. Social media bombardes us with fashion models and gadgets, convincing us to buy things we may or may not need. We feel pressured to live up to these new standards.

So how do we filter out what is bad and focus on what is good?

As you grow older, things that seemed important when you were young, aren’t as important now. Focus on acquiring knowledge most useful to your current situation and go from there.

Knowledge, begets knowledge. The more you learn of something most important to you, the more you crave more and the deeper your knowledge of that…
